Apabila masak, angkat dan siat-siat isinya. Lecek isinya sehingga halus dan tiada tulang.<br \/>\nTumbuk atau mesin cili kering bersama bawang merah dan bawang putih. Tumbuk lengkuas, kunyit hidup, serai berasingan dan ketepikan.<br \/>\nPanaskan minyak. Masukkan bahan yang dimesin bersama belacan. Kacau hingga kuning. Masukkan kemancar santan dan kacau perlahan-lahan.<br \/>\nMasukkan pati santan dan kacau lagi. Masukkan ikan, daun limau purut, lengkuas dan air asam jawa. Masukkan garam dan sedikit gula.<br \/>\nMayang bawang besar, hiris cili merah, nanas, timun dan bunga kantan untuk hiasan. Petik daun pudina sehelai-sehelai. Apabila menghidang, letakkan bihun yang telah dicelur dan taburkan Bahan-bahan Hiasan di atas bihun.<br \/>\nTuangkan kuah.
